Portraits of American Indian chiefs and warriors, including Geronimo and Sitting Bull, 1880-1910 (IC). The materials relate to Japan's involvement in World War II. Some photographic coverage of Johnson while Vice President is also included. Recorded are mine operations, mining equipment, towns, homes, medical facilities, miners, women, children, mine operators, union officials, and the medical survey members. The exhibits were designed to inform the public about war and defense activities. It is suggested, therefore, that researchers query the Still Picture Branch about the availability of records in advance of their visit.
