My sister has the previous model diesel Outback, constant DPF problems – although she's now over 200K. As you know I have an early diesel Subaru. This is far superior to the OE product and with luck will outlast the car.HPD did say most of the plastic pipes on the various manufacturers tend to let go sooner or latter.The only additional suggestion i would make is to stick some of that adhesive non slip tape (like course sandpaper on one side and sticky adhesive on the other) to the inside face of the clamps – silicone tubing is mighty slippery stuff even with a little bit of oil on it. It has now done 125,000km.I have had a range of problems with it and have heard others experience similar problems. Similar to running on 2 or 3 cylinders.
