One thing to be aware of is that in the village a lot of stuff is closed Sundays and Mondays including the small shop which is at risk of closing down altogether. The grass pitches are of a good size and seperated by fully formed hedges. We liked the site - receptionists friendly and helpful with decent amenities- tennis, table tennis, swimming plus a games room. Appeared to be a good few families, lovely atmosphere, nice and relaxed. Camping La Grappe Fleurie will debit the balance from your card 30 days before arrival, or if the arrival date is sooner than 30 days then the balance will be taken immediately.

Tourist information (and bike hire) in the village is open Sunday Morning in high season but closed Monday and Tuesday.

Staff are friendly, especially if you try your best french (whatever that might be), with lots of info available on the Fleurie vinyards, and the Beaujolais wine trail.
