1. Maiden is just a straight tank and spank.I haven’t figured how to do avatar solo, the lava does way too much damage to sit in. Like you said you can't stop phase 2 from happening pretty quickly and then the lava kills you before you can DPS him down.
That phase just consists of chilling out for a few seconds and waiting for the floor to give out.Just solo'd this as a fire mage 451. Then drag him to the next corner, and run when he starts knocking out the next floor.

If you're cheeky you can kite him out into the fel sludge and have him cast his aoe out there so he destroys less platforms, but you need an immunity or insane mobility to survive going out into the green.Did you ever manage to get it?
